Sarah St. George
Sarah St. George is a Master Circle and Signature Pastelist whose work is defined by the luminous immediacy and intense, pure pigmentation of the pastel medium. Transitioning from a 25-year career in graphic design to the fine arts, St. George brings a disciplined eye for composition to her "artist-first" approach to impressionist landscapes. Her technical process is rooted in plein air immersion, allowing her to capture nature’s ephemeral light and unfiltered color with a precision that bridges the gap between field studies and refined studio work. An active member of the Pastel Society of America and the IAPS Master Circle, her paintings serve as a vibrant, textural distillation of the Western landscape, informed by her formative years in Ohio and New York and two decades of navigating the rugged terrain of Colorado.
